Special Edition: Sudipta Mishra

No Entry

The lone pelican eyes
on its prey,
completely absorbed
in the magic of nature.

Driven by hunger,
small birds descend
from the high sky
unaware of the impending danger

Black clouds settle
on the horizon
secretly listening
to the ocean’s quiet whispers
The silent waves of the sea
remain still,
caressed by the distant hills
the wilderness endures.

The grim tales of the fate
already foretold by the seer
yet, the solitary dock awaits visitors
for witnessing
the quest,
the despair,
endless hopes
intently gazes
for meeting with the rebellious souls
waiting for destiny to unfold.
