Exclusive: Best of Women Poetry: Edited by Padmaja Iyengar-Paddy

back and forth
she swings hooked
to the morals

she lulls to cradle
her heart
she relaxes in meeting
family's demands
her race to cross
the line of poverty
reading between the lines
she competes high
coffee table
she swirls the froth
to turn the table
keeping to the rules
she plays her ace
the orbiting Mangalyaan carried
women power
