Silence
I am sitting lonely with loneliness.
The river flows by, its water calm and still.
The canopy of the tree gives me shade.
The opposite bank is crowded with clusters of bushes.
I am sitting lonely with loneliness.
Somewhere a lonely bird sings a lonely song.
A mild breeze rustles the leaves of the trees.
The leaves whisper in a hushed tone.
In the silence of the noon.
The river and the trees talk to me.
Sitting all alone on the bank of the river,
Suddenly loneliness vanishes
and serenity of the silence enriches my soul.
