Dr. Prakash Joshi currently teaches at the Department of English and Other European Languages, Dr. Harisingh Gour Central University at Sagar in Madhya Pradesh (India). Dr. Joshi has his doctorate in American Drama. He has worked on Modern Indian Drama by way of research and by producing and directing plays at his various places of work in India and the United States of America. As a Fulbright Visiting Lecturer at the City University of New York in 2012, he taught a course on Modern Indian Drama at the Department of Comparative Literature, Queens College. As a part of his Fulbright project, he also directed Indian plays in collaboration with the Department of Drama and Theater of the College. The areas of his interest and research include Literary Theory, and Indigenous Literatures & Arts.
