Margaret O’Driscoll

Margaret O’Driscoll lives in Cork, Ireland and is a mother of seven and grandmother to eleven. Her poems have appeared in various international  journals and anthologies including Live Encounters Poetry, mgversion2datura, A New Ulster, Society of Classical Poets, Stanzas, Poets Unite Worldwide, Sixteen Magazine, Mute Melodist and more. Hodder Education UK  published her poem, ‘Friendship’ in a GCSE English Literature Exam publication, translated into Bulgarian and Polish. Her calendar poem, ‘Children’s Nature Guide’ is forthcoming in Summer in  a children’s poetry book. She published her first collection of poetry, ‘The Best Things In Life Are Free’ in June, 2017. It has received rave reviews including one by Shyam Sharma, organiser of the 2014 Delhi Poetry Festival.
