Rajarshee Gupta is an Assistant Professor of English at Subhas Chandra Bose Centenary College in West Bengal, India. He has done his M.A. and M.Phil from Department of English, University of Calcutta and served as Project Fellow of the UGC assisted DRS Programme (Phase III) at the same Department. He is a bilingual writer and his articles have been published in a number of English and Bengali journals and edited volumes of eminence. His research article on “Man, Nature and Universe through Rabindranath Tagore’s Eyes: A Study of Autumn Festival”, an exploration into the three versions of the same play (in Bengali and English) by Tagore has been recently published by the Scottish Centre of Tagore Studies, Edinburgh Napier University, on their website. His areas of interest are postcolonial studies, language studies, Indology, Tagore studies, aesthetics, musicology and cultural studies.
