Saikat Gupta Majumdar
is an amateur poet. He writes Poems, Rhymes and Captions both in English and
Bengali. His English Poems got published in ‘Indology’ magazine. His Poems got
published in different online magazines e.g. ‘Pangolin Review’, ‘Ink Pantry
Publishing’, The River Sandha Review, The Conclusion magazine,‘Setu’. The poet
has received a certificate from ‘Indology’ He has also received a certificate
from “The River Sandha Review” for his special contribution to them in Nov’18.
The
Platform Scene
The leaves of the trees are mostly yellow
Beneath the bluish sky
A down train whistled and left away----
The little swing in branches for breezing
Some yellow leaves scattered beneath,
Another down train passed-----
But I felt no urge of boarding in
As got enchanted with the scenic view
And an appeal of the ‘blue’ above
Made me another stay -the wonder in mind
with.
