lust.
Dr. Rita De (B. 1955) with Masters in Geography and English Literature
and a PhD in Pali, takes pride in calling herself a soldier of the Underground
Literature - they both commenced their journey together in 1978. Over the
years, the publishing house has nourished itself with many books from her in
English and Bengali and across genres like poems, fiction, research papers and
survey reports. Her spiritual and transcendental renderings have transformed
themselves into several anthologies. Dr. Rita De’s poetry is spontaneous
and provokes the readers to think differently. Her poetry has been appreciated
nationally and internationally and has been translated in French. She is regularly invited to various national and international poetry and literary events to read her poetry and research
papers. She writes short stories too.
