Sri Pradeep Biswal is a distinguished bilingual poet writing both in English and Odia. He has authored five anthologies of poetry in Odia, namely Bhumiparasha, Dhusara Dhrupadi, Seshaloka, Prema Kavita and Pheriba Batare. Jal Darpan and Lautte Raste Mein happen to be two collections of his poetry translated into Hindi. He has represented Odia Poetry at national level on many occasions. His poems have been published in Hindi, English, Tamil and other major Indian languages and have been included in the prestigious anthologies published by National Book Trust, Sahitya Academy and Odisha Sahitya Acdemy . He received a Fellowship in Literature from Ministry of Human Resource Development of Culture in 1995. He has received many awards and felicitations from different literary and cultural organisations for his singular contribution to literature and culture.
