Surabhi Kashyap: Figures of Thought: Collegiate Voices across Spaces

Awaiting

Existences bygone, the world disoriented
Fearful sorrowful painful.
Light here brings shadows
Darkness all over.

The needle of time travelling
before our agonized eyes,
but unfortunate realisations stopping by,
'It isn’t time that’s passing by, it’s you and I.'

Halt! Look for something that's invisible
unattainable, inconceivable , unimaginable.
World's not lost, just a little obscure.
The rainbow is still waiting for the rain to stop.

The dark curtain in the sky
needs a hand to shine some light on.
Awaiting the dawn. Awaiting
to rekindle the dimmed beacon of light.
