Soreness that is the product of
The multiple wounds of
The journey of life
From childhood to the youth
And has now
Entered the circumference of old age
But the hands of God
That reach everyone extensively
At all times to hold us
To caress us
To sooth us
With the healing ointment
of affection
Of patience
Of love
To heal the soreness
Of the wounds that ache the body
To give solace to mental attitude
A feeling that makes me say
Thank You Oh GOD
Thanks, from my heart
That is full of gratitude
For the gift of love received.
