The pressure of survival in the big city will make you lose sight of your dream... Hang in there.
---James De La Vega
Brief Description of the theme:
The Dying City is an oil painting by the celebrated Australian artist-poet-editor-philosopher Robert Maddox-Harle.
It captures the reality---horror? ---of a city, denuded, stripped of greenery, in an atrophied form.
Soulless.
Concrete expanse.
The way cities are turning into wastelands.
Climate crisis.
Greed.
Destruction.
Dystopia.
Well, well. Respond to the digitized version (below) of the painting, in prose or poetry, please.
We are waiting for your creative responses.
