Poetry: JoyAnne O'Donnell

JoyAnne O'Donnell
The Star Kisses

At night I write
When quiet beauty
Absorbs consciousness
A reflection in the soft white twinkle
Of moonlight and starlight
Souls shadow
Looking in my room
On my desk
All around captures white
Bright illumination
Energy fields
Expressing motions
In my writer’s nook
Of plenty of peaceful words.

Paris at the Coffee House

I love to watch
The pouring ideas
In my china cup
Of coffee or tea
The waves
Pour bright thoughts waves
Like a brook of opportunity.
