Special Edition: Marjorie Pezzoli

Marjorie-Pezzoli

Higher Dividends

the vault is closed

her mind is open
pickpocketed memories
returned —interest included

pennies from heaven
the shiny dime moon
more precious than gold

stretched dollar trampoline
launches her into the sky
Orion’s Belt tightened

she banks the next idea
looks in the mirror
becomes the teller

the seeker
self reflection multiplies
a passage of possibilities

the minter of pure coins
continued consciousness refined
chaotic conundrums no longer

vault of limitations —sealed over
a vanguard exchange
the currency of air is enough

innocents will no longer be traded
