Pallavi Jain
Realm of dreams

I wiggle my tiny toes in the sand
Standing at the edge of the sea
The blue blanket of tranquility
Lulling with its waves
Symphony of frothy, briny water
A canvas of ever- changing colours
The sea embraces me
Comforting like a mother
Steering my path like a father
The enchanting surface
Shimmers with celestial beauty of stars
Realm of dreams
The sea, a treasure trove
Hiding secrets and countless mysteries
A magical abyss, yet to be discovered
The sea is a keeper of ancient lore
A storyteller
Stories of conflict and struggle
Shipwreck and survival
Rise and fall
Sea lets me become a child
Every time I soak myself in its enormity
Sea, a reflection of human emotion
Calm or still
Turbulent or rigid
Love or rage
An intricate fabric woven
Show casing the diverse forms of life in its depth
My heart is the size of an ocean
I will have to dive in
To find myself in its depths.
