Li├╣saidh is a Forward Prize nominated poet, author, and lyricist from the west of Scotland. Prior to sliding to the bottom of society, she worked in the legal profession. She spent several years living and working in South Asia and East Asia and did not come home unchanged. As LJ McDowall she writes speculative fiction and edits the Quarterday Review, a quarterly literary anthology dedicated to classical forms. Her work has appeared online and in print, most recently in Eastern Structures, The Ghazal Page, Poets and War, and several other publications.
