A Digital Transition: Some Early Artwork

When it became too difficult to continue making sculpture because of my physical health I started creating digital-computer-generated artwork. These works were a combination of scans, my photographs and computer-created effects. Many contained images of my previous sculptures in both stone and ceramic.

The theme present in most of these works concerns individuality, cloning of personalities, and dystopian futures. Mainly inspired by Huxley’s Brave New World and Toffler’s Future Shock – the cloning, dumbing-down and creation of Epsilon-like drones is in full swing. Yes, the Future IS Now!
