ROLES OF WOMEN

Man is the first creation by God, and then the woman
Woman was created as the finest beauty endowment
She has the calibre to stand equal with her capabilities
She is a pillar of strength in times of adversity

A woman is entrusted with multiple assignments and roles
An exquisite creation embodied with humanity and love
Her affection and devotion to her family have no bounds
She cares and in time of needs, she is always around

She carries with grace the burden of motherhood
Nourishes her child with the nectar of womanhood
As an epitome of sacrifice, she performs her duties
She understands her role and responsibilities

Today, women are the most beautiful of all creations
In the home, they give warmth and compassion
In the corporate world, they walk with grace and confidence
It gives them glory to work with men in high management

In every phase, a woman lives her life for her family
She is a companion and a listener with an attitude of positivity
She possesses a character with wisdom and integrity
She deserves respect and a high level of dignity.

Lilian Woo is the author of the poetry book 'The Pearl Wonder'. She serves world literature as a Chief Administrator for Malaysia zone for Motivational Strips, a world-wide community of writers. A prolific poet, Lilian’s poems have been published in several international anthologies and prestigious journals. She is a recipient of several accolades for her soulful writing in the international literary circle, notably: Bold Gold Pen International Award-2018, The World Laureate Literature Award-2018, Ambassador De Literature Award-2019, Honoured Poet of Malaysia Award-2019 conferred by the Seychelles Government, and the World Award for Literary Excellence 2019-20 from the Government Republic of Peru.
