An ex-senior banker with 25 years of experience in all facets of banking and with a faculty experience of 11 years, BNV Parthasarathi has done MCom, MBA, AIIBF. He is an elected associate member of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, a professional body of bankers, financial institutions and their employees in India. He resigned from the Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait as Vice President and Branch Head in January, 2011. He is pursuing his PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad on the topic, ‘Problems & Prospects of PPP Models in Developing Road Network in India.’ He has to his credit 55 national and international publications on various topics like – banking, global trade, economy, public finance, and public policy. He has taught 25 subjects at premier business schools, universities and institutions as visiting faculty (JNTU; University of Hyderabad; National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research; Administrative Staff College of India; Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences; Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies).

Parthasarathi is a Director in Focus Credit Services Private limited, a team of a professionals consisting of senior Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, Senior Ex-Bankers providing various professional services in the field of Audit, Accounts, Project finance, Financial Restructuring, Equity Placement, Feasibility Studies, Company Law Matters & Due Diligence Issues etc. He is also on the panel of approved consultants of National Institute of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises for preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for promotion of central government schemes under Cluster Finance.

Six short stories in Telugu, a drama and a critical review on ‘Kanyasulkam’ (one of the greatest social plays in Telugu  by Gurajada Apparao) penned by Parthasarathi  were broadcast over All India Radio, Madras during 1981-86. Seven stories and three articles in Telugu have been published in magazines.

Chaired several technical sessions, presided over and delivered key note address in various national and international conferences including at FICCI and CII. He is also a panel speaker in an ETV channel programme, Pratidhwani, covering topics of national interest like Economy, Governance, Global Trade, Finance, and Banking.
