Ms. Raeesa Usmani is a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Biotechnology, Veer Narmad
South Gujarat University, Surat, Gujarat, India. She was awarded Gold Medal in Master of Arts
at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. She has received Master of Philosophy degree
in literature, in the genre of Travel Writing. Currently she is pursuing PhD. She writes creatively
and critically as well. She has published poems and research papers in varied International
Journals and magazines so far. Her areas of interest include Travel Writing, Applied Linguistics,
English Language Teaching, Gender Studies, Translation Studies, World Literature, English
Literature, and partition Literature.
