Marsha Warren Mittman

Marsha Warren Mittman’s poetry/essays/short stories have been published in American, British, German, and Australian literary journals and anthologies. Recently: Pure Slush, The Wild Word, Oakwood, Rat’s Ass Review, In-flight, Novelty, and a sixth Chicken Soup for the Soul tale. A memoir, You Know You Moved to South Dakota from New York City WHEN… is forthcoming from Scurfpea Publishing. Select poems from her chapbook, Patriarchal Chronicles: Women's Worldwide Tears, are currently being crafted into a staged production.

Mittman’s the recipient of multiple poetry/prose distinctions in the US and Ireland, and was awarded a 2019 Writer-in-Residence at the Fairhope Center for the Writing Arts.
