श्रद्धांजलि अहद 'प्रकाश'

नीम की छैयाँ ता-था-थैया

आई गिलहरी देखो भैया,

दौड़ रही है, नाच रही है

खेल रही है खो-खो भैया!

ऊपर आती, नीचे जाती

डाली पर झटपट चढ़ जाती,

कुतर रही है जाने क्या यह

आहट पाते ही छिप जाती!

चंचल, सुंदर, सबसे न्यारी

प्यारी-प्यारी सरल गिलहरी,

माँ को बहुत भली लगती है

सिया-राम की चपल गिलहरी!
