Together
Have you ever seen
A spent Shakespeare
Finding solace
On the lap of Shelley?
Or a tired Tagore
Taming Tolstoy?
Ever found a frisky Freud
Fathoming Francis Bacon?
Have they ever met
Langland and Larkin!
Or Donne and Dorothy
Dwelling on discourses?
Russell and Richardson
In the same row!
Oedipus and Othello
Sharing sorrows to each other?
Can you ever think
Antony leaves Cleo
Just to woo Shakuntala?
Imagine Arden
Just an inch from Wessex!
All these happen
Happen my dear
In the single shelf
Of my study room.

The Wall
I knew them all
3.4k in numbers
Smiling faces in framed circles
I acted
They reacted
With their smilies, memes and GIFs
With frownings and amazings
I would share
Everything with them
From my brand new guitar
To the house litter
From my recent hair cut
To that buttonless shirt
From my dinner
To oh the latest inner.
But the other day
As I found myself
Lying on the white sheet
With gashes all over
Nowhere did I find
One from the 3.4k list
Someone was there though
Standing in a worried look.
The face that my blog gave no space
A friend of mine nakedhood.
Learnt I soon
How words differ
'Virtual' and 'virtuous'.

Missing
He tried to feed himself
With half plate of moon shines,
A little of verdurous grasses
And a tumbler full of mists
Sitting over the Faraglioni
He wanted to enjoy his meal
Flavoured with the
Aroma of wild Oleanders
Occasional thunders
And periodic flashes of lightnings
Would be his sole companion
The sapphire cloudless overhead
Would be his mistress
But soon someone from Porlock
Broke his reverie
And he found himself
Kept in his matchbox
From where it was
Well nigh difficult
To find only a dot of blue.
