Exclusive: Women Poetry: Edited by Padmaja Iyengar-Paddy
She stared at her shadows.
In chains of grief,
Words set aside…
She had only dreams to register
her loneliness
Words fell from her to banks of river Nile
She threw men into mysterious
beauty of hers
Since then
she had been wondering
how to survive
now she grew like

With a bewitching smile,
she lives in all women.
Her only weapon....

LET ME BUY A REFLECTOR
He tries to explore her
and becomes stone
Hey woman,
Just document your life.
Colour it,
Let it be a running diary.
Her thoughts,
spin as hungry snakes
and slither in many men.
They scare at her gaze.
Her red eyes,
make more statues
Once again
she is a slave
to her stunning beauty.
Let me buy a reflector
