Eugene Ngezem |
Prof. Eugene Ngezem is a tenured Full Professor of English and full-status graduate faculty who holds a B.A., M. A., and Ph.D. in English, with distinction. Prof. Ngezem has been a university instructor for more than twenty years. Beyond teaching at the University of Yaound├й 1 (Cameroon) and at Birla College, India, he has taught in several institutions in the U.S., including Messiah College (PA), Shippensburg University (PA), Murray State University (KY), and at Clayton State University, where he currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses. Prof. Ngezem’s scholarship varies, but focuses primarily on modern and contemporary English literature. He has also published in 19th-century British literature, world literature, American literature, and postcolonial literature. Prof. Ngezem has published several dozens scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Africa. He has also presented several juried papers at international and national conferences in the U.S., Africa, and Asia. He recently delivered a live lecture via webinar, which featured more than 2500 scholars from around the world.
In light of hobbies, Prof. Ngezem plays and coaches soccer. He has been certified by the U.S. Soccer Association and coaches U19 Boys soccer in the state of Georgia.
