glass,
pieces of paper plates thrown on the
grass,
concrete buildings take over the luscious
green,
it makes caring hearts
scream in rage and
anguish for the incremental
loss.
Insecticides and different
sprays,
turn everything into things
pale and
wan.
Mother earth is doomed,
all the things that get consumed
without any
restraint.
Cutting trees,
to feed them into belching factories, this
brings out the undesired smoke and
heat, smog
is the bane for the citizens.
Cities!
Breathless.
Ponds dark, mottled.
Dystopia is dominant.
Let's resolve to make earth a better
place,
and not
escape from collective
responsibility.
Let's make this planet, a better
liveable place for
generations
yet to come.
