Holding Back

What holds you back?

What holds you back dear girl?
Is it the fear of the crumbling walls,
By the ferocious winds hounding?

What holds you back dear girl?
Is it the fear of filling your entire spirit with dry spell,
By stormy dust raging?

What holds you back dear girl?
Is it the fear of breaking your inner self,
With volcanoes erupting?

What holds you back dear girl?
Is it the fear of freezing your heart
By the snowsquall awaiting?

Soon the wind will calm down
The stormy dust will subside.
The oceans will come to its original demeanour.
The snowsquall will give way to a sunny day.

Before your fear takes root and manifest itself,
Rise up and march ahead,
Do not hold yourself dear girl.
