Absences poem by Jaydeep Sarangi

poem by Jaydeep Sarangi

Absences from sunset to sunrise,
touches, smells, small acts
Hands upon hands
Night’s starry prayers
for my sweet thoughts, green.

Memories lost, I’m there
on the deserted, abandoned roads.

Crows have their days
Eating together in starred restaurants and cafes.

Countless colours paint my days
Dazzling beauty consumes
Eyes feast,
Dream dance in jazz.
