Mirza Sibtain Beg

Mirza Sibtain Beg, Ph. D, is an Associate Professor in the dept. of English at Shia P.G. College, Lucknow, an associated college of University of Lucknow, U. P, India. He is a poet, critic, reviewer, and a columnist. He has published extensively 35 research papers in scholarly Journals/Periodicals in India and abroad. He was invested with Editor’s Choice Award, Bhubaneshwar for literature in 2011, and awarded with Distinguished Leader Award by Home of Letters (India) in 2011 for art and literature. He won Sir Richard Sermon Award for teaching in 2018. He has written three books: Voices of Verse (2014), Critical Considerations on the Poetry of Jayanta Mahapatra (2015), and Pearls of Poesy (2020), his poems published in many reputed journals in India and abroad. His poetry is deep and multifaceted, an epitome of grace and class. Simple, sublime, stoic and steady, the poet with indomitable spirit and artistic purity comes with his felicitous and fabulous poetry. He is a humanist by heart that is discern in his writings.
