Born in Europe, some time ago, Roxana Nastase started loving books very early. The next step was easy and writing became a dream and a purpose. She enjoys writing and baking – these two work very well hand in hand, and she enjoys spending time with her dog or at least most of the time, as he is a hellion.

She grew up in Europe but she immigrated to Canada about ten years ago and that helped her to understand a mixture of cultures and get in touch with a huge variety of people. One trip to Scotland made her lose her heart to a beautiful country and extraordinary people and that is why she chose a Scottish detective to promote her crime stories in the McNamara series. She also wrote under another pen name - Rowena Dawn, for romance.
