Education
Prof Onyari obtained his appointment as a professor of Peace from United graduate College and Seminary International (2014). He was awarded PhD Honorary degree in Divinity from North Western Christian University (2014). He also holds a Master of Arts Degree in Development Studies Majoring Peace building and Conflict Transformation (2014) from St. Paul’s University. Second Master’s degree in Master of business Administration majoring Project Management from Africa Nazarene University (2015); Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Geography from Egerton university (1993). Bachelor's Degree in Theology from North Western Christian University (2013). He is a PhD Candidate at Kisii University on Peace and Conflict studies.

Work experience
Prof Onyari is a qualified and experienced executive with Twenty two years track record of excellent performance in Management in Project Management, Teaching, Environmental Impact Assessment, Climate change, strategic planning, program design, and monitoring and evaluation, democracy and human rights, labour Relations, Peace Building and Conflict Transformation, Advocacy and Networking, Environment and Waste Management Research, Chaplaincy and Counseling. He is exposed to meeting high performance parameters, delivering quality results and establishing rapport with stakeholders including colleagues, management and industry players. He is a dedicated and motivated team player with excellent problem solving, negotiation, training, facilitation, leadership, oral and written communication skills that apply well in his work.

Monitoring and Evaluation Leader action 2015 and cop 21.
Production of timely accurate reliable reports when required.
Actively participated in the team that developed the staff development policy and workers welfare policy.
Recognized as an effective team leader and mentor in the departments he has ever worked in.
Participated in the development of the Church strategic plan that was approved by the Church Business meeting on record time.
Volunteer as church Investment and Development leader in Nairobi East Seventy Day Adventist for four years.
Trained Lay Chaplain and counsellor.
