Ramesh Chandra Tiwari (May 1, 1964) is working for LIC of India, BO – Bahraich, graduated in Hindi, English and Economics from Avadh University, Faizabad in 1984 but completed a master’s degree in English Literature after twenty years from the same university in 2004. His return to education after a long gap awakened a new love for learning in him. He studied English and then got into the habit of reading different literature books, which later inspired him to write prose, poetry and fiction. He has written 20 short stories, 25 short shorts, 5 nonfictions and a number of poems both in English and Hindi.
His works have been published by a few leading publishers: one of his essays appeared in ‘Reading Hour’, Bangalore; one, in the ‘RML Avadh University Journal’, nine short stories and two poems in ‘The Criterion: A Journal in English’, four short stories and two essays in ‘Galaxy: a Multidisciplinary Research Journal’, one short story in ‘LANLIT’ and one short story in ‘The Bombay Review’. Besides, he is the author of a book ‘Trishna-Thirsty Wings’, a collection of 44 poems that cover a range of subjects, like: politics, nationalism, faith, humanity and love.
