Candyfloss
It
was in my murky teen
That,
flaunting myself, as was been
It
was in my early adulthood
That,
flipping in me, trysts with mood
It
was in my nascent midlife blue
That
suddenly I felt, fell for you.
It
was in my early elderness
That,
weeded was I, dark wilderness
I
am still, clearing my lousy dirt
Eyes
roam around, a filthy flirt
People's
innocence, voluntary miscontrue
Deep
within me, I know, am true
Yours
me remain yours
Counted,
weighed, dense candyfloss
Mine's
you, just mine
Hollowed
silence, shrieks and shine..
Wink
The
king wouldn't always be there
The
sky might not bellow its flair
But
remember to look up in dusk and dawn
The
king would wink the queen with a frown...
The
king lives on for ever on and on
The
queen pleads his return till the next sun shone...
Till
eternity
How
do I hear your beats
Without
listening to the skies?
How
do I feel your breath
Without
touching the air?
How
do I hold you close
Without
being embraced by the rain?
I
have learnt, my love
To
live with you,
To
love you till eternity
To be present in your
absence.Voices Within-2020 :: Setu, February 2020
