Neera Kashyap: Poetry (Life, Cognition and Creativity)

Neera Kashyap
Haiku/Senryu/Monoku

from pond’s depth circles
widen to the surface –
kingfisher stock-still

-----
faces lit by
fire –
Master’s silence
-----
forest pines –
fireflies light up
the silence

-----
river’s chant -
glacier rain waterfall stream …
all river

-----
mountain pass –
wind roars…
drops into silence
***

Senryu

beacon beam –
boat amid giant reefs
sights harbour lights
----
winter sun glazes
limbs slowly -
cat winks
-----
trout leap high in air
as mountain river gushes -
fishing ban
***

Monoku

Lockdown I practice telepathy
***
