Asha Choubey

A professor of English in the Department of Humanities at MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly since 2010,  Dr. Asha Choubey is also the Women Grievance Cell chairperson. She has published four books Women on Women, Womancing Women, Righting the Wrong, and The Fictional Milieu of  Nayantara Sahgal.  All her books have been very well received in India as well as abroad. Dr. Choubey’s interest lies in the areas of ELT, Feminism, Women’s Studies; Post colonial Literature and Indian English Fiction. She has been published by some highly reputed International publishing houses such as Sage, Routledge, Facts on File, Greenwood and prestigious journals like  Linguistics and Literature Studies, USA; Apple Valley Review, USA; Quiet Mountain Essays, USA  Literary Paritantra, India; Rupkatha, India and many others. Dr. Choubey has been a  visiting fellow at the Dept. of Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies, Eotvos Lorand University, Budapest, Hungary. A reviewer with some journals on the UGC CARE list, Dr. Choubey has been a subject expert on the panel of UPPSC and an Expert  Member of BoS in English Language and Literature, Faculty of Arts, Maharaja Sayaji Rao University of Baroda, Gujarat.  She has been an invited resource person in many reputed universities in Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh in  India and in countries like Hungary, Mexico, Sri Lanka and Canada.
