Arindam Roy

Arindam Roy, publisher, editor, author, poet, translator, a teacher of Mass Comm and Creative Writing, has 40 years’ experience in various newsrooms. Festival Director of Kavya Kumbh, a mega International Multilingual Poetry Fest, he is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief, Different Truths. He was the Managing Editor of a reputed Gurgaon-based Citizen Journalist portal and has held senior positions in several publications. He launched several publications, newspaper supplements and headed an event management company, Think Tank, in the mid-1980s. He hand-held several journalists, young authors and poets. He participated at various seminars, symposia, poetry meets and webinars as chief guest, keynote speaker and has delivered presidential addresses. He has contributed 13 chapters to various publications, of these, seven chapters were published in two Coffee Table Books, published by the Times Group. He is a co-author of a novel, Rivers Run Back, which was launched at the American Centre, New Delhi, in 2015. His writing partner is a well-known American novelist, Joyce Yarrow. He lives in Prayagraj (Allahabad) and Bangalore.
