Rituparna Khan
Fragrance of bliss

Her tired skin was soothed with
soft mud of the forest floor

Best fragrance ever known to her
was the petrichor.

Day out in the reality of woods
filled her with fragrance of freedom.

'Far from the madding crowd' of woody urbane
her fragrance was caressed by nature.

Nature perfumed her with the
fragrance of bliss.

My Playground

My playground was inundated.
I wallowed in its wavy depth...
safe and in bliss.

My playground was my nestled abode.
I stretched out my arms to eternity...
carefree and happy.

My playground was my appetizer.
I was fed there with delicacies...
tastier than ambrosia.

My playground was my castled habitat.
I was protected from intrusions...
knitted to walls of caress.

My playground was my recreation.
I floated on her wings of joy...
in merriment and laughter.

My playground was my cauldron of hope.
I waited to unravel opportunities...
for creation of the new.

My playground was... is my breather forever.
I was... am blended in her with blood...
my mother's womb.
