I upload my photo a thousand times
Your words cut me open like a knife
I crave for your “likes” on my wall
You Emoji me with your smirking face.
I detest that you can see
All these cracks on my shell
The warrior in me is giving up
Retreating in my cocoon space.
There’s no reason you should see
Almost everything I get to feel
The yellow yolk of my soul
It should be all but completely sealed.
You look for me on cyberspace
Byte by byte I am learning to erase
I will escape your throttling grip.
“Delete.”
Now I’m beyond your reach!
