बुशरा अल्वी रज़्ज़ाक

बुशरा अल्वी रज़्ज़ाक दिल्ली की एक स्वतंत्र लेखिका एवम् संपादक हैं। बचपन से ही साहित्य में गहन रुचि होने के कारण लेखन उनके लिए एक जुनून रहा है। उनकी कविताएँ ज्वलंत सामयिक स्थितियों, कल्पनाओं और वास्तविकता के संगीत से भरपूर होती हैं।  उनकी कविताओं का धारदार प्रवाह और भाव जन-जन के हृदय में सहजता से उतरकर गहरी छाप छोड़ता है। उनकी कविताएँ राष्ट्रीय एवम् अतंराष्ट्रीय काव्य संग्रहों में प्रकाशित हुई हैं। बुशरा जी ने समाज और संस्कृति पर कई आलेख लिखे हैं जो देश-विदेश के विभिन्न पत्र - पत्रिकाओं तथा वेबसाइटों पर प्रकाशित होते रहते हैं। जैसे :- Rising Kashmir, The International Indian, Khaleej Times, Dawn, Indian Mirror, twocircles.net आदि पर प्रकाशित हुए हैं। जब वो खाड़ी में थीं तब उन्होंने  www.irhal.com, दुबई में स्थित ट्रैवल पोर्टल, ग्रेट लाइफ इन दुबई, एक दुबई पर आधारित लाइफ स्टाइल मैगजीन की संपादक के रूप में अपनी सेवाएँ दी हैं। वो हफ़िंगटन पोस्ट (US) संस्करण में स्थाई ब्लॉगर हैं....

Bushra Alvi Razzack is a freelance writer and editor for whom the written word, particularly poetry, has been a passion since childhood. Her poems are filled with vivid imagery and genuine melody and speak of things that touch her heart and stir her emotions. Her poems have been published in several anthologies. Bushra also writes on society and culture and her articles have been published in various magazines, newspapers and websites including The International Indian, Khaleej Times, Dawn, Indian Mirror and twocircles.net. She has also served as the Editor of www.irhal.com, a Dubai-based travel portal and Great Life in Dubai, a Dubai-based lifestyle magazine She is a permanent blogger at The Huffington Post, US edition. 

       Her translations of Urdu and Hindi short stories have appeared in New Urdu Writings from India and Pakistan (pub. Westland), Pigeons of the Domes: Stories on Communalism (pub. Niyogi Books) and River of Flesh and Other Stories: The Prostituted Woman in Indian Short Fiction (pub. Speaking Tiger Books). Currently she is translating into English, a full-length novel written by a well-known Hindi novelist. She is also a keen photographer. Before embarking on a writing career, Bushra taught English across several schools in India and the Gulf. She runs a poetry group, Delhi by Verse, a platform to popularize poetry, nurture fresh talent and spread the joy of verse.
