A hopeful vision and dream bright
We have a heart that craves for you
We have a heart that waits for you
We have eyes that cry in pain
Waiting for you is incessant rain
Remember the day, when I was born
You took my birth as a blissful morn
You laughed, you danced in festive cheers
Your eyes were welling up with gleeful tears
You cared, you guided you controlled, you watched
You mentored, you loved, you teased you touched.
You left the world but not at all me
I still feel your presence beside me
You are the lighthouse while I'm midstream
In the seasons of darkness, you are Sunbeam.
