Life had found its routes, or so she thought.
Life would be carefree now... independent... interesting... secured... and...
She felt a kind of arrogance rolling up her navel and pervading her heart and brain.
She felt empowered...!
She had landed her first job - a 10 am to 5 pm, standard stuff - in an insurance major.
"Insurance is a matter of solicitation"...
She laughed inwardly, her soul radiating a pleasure that's hardly capable of "feeling"!
Life's timer activated
Alarm will ring at morn
Sleep through the hell
Nights had always been 'tricky' for her!
'Tricky' like going out for a 'blind date'...
Dates and coffee could be a strange combination to begin or end a 'date'... and he had always been there to measure her up... her 'times'... with "coffee spoons"!
She, however, never spoke of "Michaelangelo", what if he had always worn "the bottoms" of his "trousers rolled"!
She was just 22.
And then it came...
A quake strikes
Virus jolts biz off track
Life's not a game!
Things begun to change fast. Night seemed to engulf days.
The 10 am to 5 pm 'liberation' suddenly found itself 'jailed'!
"Work from home"... lockdown... isolation.
Time "masked"!
Her life got "quarantined".
Her nights through the day and night came up to her and said, " 'I am Lazarus, come from the dead, / Come back to tell you all, I shall tell you all' -"... and she cringed... and cringed and cringed...
Till...
She finally metamorphosed into sunlight and went to kiss the world 'unmasked'!
